it looks like these are the two finales....because on the 23 in the 8pm time slot is not Little People Big World.. its "Having quintuplets" or something...so it looks like we can only enjoy 2 more weeks of new episodes.. Im not for sure if they are going to be showing repeats on Saturday still or during the day.. I think they should considering this is one of the best shows on TLC..

My dad has a beautiful camper. It has a fireplace, a built in t.v., and very nice kitchen and carpeting. I know he paid a lot for it. They don't take it anywhere though. They(my stepmom and siblings) go camping at one of our local parks..Kickapoo park. I'm like hello why dont you guys go somewhere? I dont visit you when you camp because you are camping in one of our parks and that is lame!

Your dad would go nuts if he was with me then. I tent it, live out of a cooler or catch my supper (most times, heh). My fireplace is outdoors. Heck, you can see my fav chair that i take with me in my avatar pic.
Rv's are just summer homes on wheels.

That's what I think too. But my dad, stepmom, and the bunch would never sleep in a tent or anything like that. I don't even think I would anymore. I did when I was little but not now. It's nice to have a camper like that, but it's just silly. They might as well stay home with all of the comforts of that camper
DisruptiveSpirit
07-11-2007, 06:45 PM
We love to "tent" it too. However, as time goes on, I must say that we'd really like to get at least a pop-up one day. Anymore it sometimes seems like a hassle getting all the stuff together to take (packing the truck etc...at least with a pop-up/camper you can store all the camping stuff in it and just go). And, we have a bad habit of always picking a time to go camping when it decides it's gonna pour. When you've slept in a puddle of water one too many times, that pop-up/camper starts sounding better and better!
A few years ago we went camping for a week. It poured, not just rain, but poured the entire time. All we could do was sit out under the tarp in mud up to our ankles and watch the pond next to us overflow into our campsite. LMAO! What a nightmare! The tarp kept collecting huge puddles and eventually they would dump out to the side causing us to get splashed with mud. It's was bad.
At least with a pop-up/camper, we could have been inside playing cards or something. Ya know? I guess both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Cause we are dumb? LOL I don't know. I guess we just kept trying to hold out for better weather. We aren't ones to give up so easily. And, after about 4 days of it we decided to get one of the cabins they had available there. Did that for one night and then the rain let up some for the remaining time. Let up enough so that it wasn't so bad sitting out under the tarp. Plus, we were 3 hours away from home. And, it sucks even more having to pack and put away a tent/clothes/camping supplies/etc. in the rain and when everything is soaked. LOL Can't win!

LMAO! I HATE bugs, rodents, etc. So, you can imagine me camping. I try not to ruin anyones time. But, you can bet your behind I'm looking for creepy crawlies while I'm sitting there! If one gets on me, I'm outta there.
A few years ago when we had those cicadas that came we decided to go camping. Well, of course we made the camping plans before we knew that they were coming. WELL, as soon as it turned dark they came out by the thousands!!!!!!! My behind sat in the tent all night while my hubby and son sat out there watching them. YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so freaked out! I REALLY wanted to come home.
Another time we went camping really scared me. We were there sitting around the fire and our son was only about one and was sleeping in the tent. I suddenly heard something heavy walking to my right. Of course it's dark and the fire only lightens the area so much. Then I heard a sound behind me and then to my left! Here, there were these 3 huge raccoons surrounding us!!!! I ran and jumped in the truck! Screaming to my husband to get our son! LOL He sat there laughing his butt off. Guess what? I slept in the truck that night. He still laughs at me about that one.
LOL Mattlover that's what I was thinking, but now they know who not t take camping if they go again US!

Here here!! That is why I like my dads RV. Bug free and very comforting. :D Last time I went to the campground, we sat there for an hour or so watching Shirley Temple on D.V.D. Everything was colored so some of it looked kind of funny..like the coloring wasnt all the way drawn in in some scenes. My stepmom is a huge Shirley Temple fan and I got into the show while I was sitting there watching it. :D

I remember as a kid they had a Shirley Temple movie come to theatre. It was Heidi and I just loved that movie. My Mom wanted to take my sister and I because when she was a little girl that was the big thing in the 1930's. I would guess I saw it sometime in the late 50's at the theatre. The night we got the most rainfall in a 12 hour period in this area's entire history, i was in a tent on an island. It was raining so hard that i was afraid my boat was gonna fill up with water before i could make it to the other side........we just cracked open a 40 of rye and rode out the storm.

Hehehe! Yeah, once we realized complaining wasn't working we just sat back, muddy and wet, and had a few drinks ourselves.
Our biggest worry/problem was our son. Try telling a 10 year old (how old he was at the time) to just sit there day and night and do nothing. LOL He periodically would sit in the truck with his Nintendo DS but of course that got old quick. LOL Trying to cook was the worst!!! Thank God for donuts and chips. LOL A few of the bad days we drove into town to McDonalds! What a site we must have been. LOLOL!!!!!!!!

Here are my favorite moments! Lots :D
I loved when Amy told Molly "what are you gonna do when you have kids? You cant even clean out the sink so how are you gonna clean a dirty diaper?"
Amy sounds JUST like my mom. My mom says that to me as well cause I won't touch the garbage or the garbage bin or raw meat
That was so CUTE when Jake wanted to bring his stuffed animals. I kept saying AWWWWWW!
Zach said my favorite phrase again..what the duece? oh and LMAO about Shelby!
Knott's Berry Farm looked so fun! My mom went there before. She is lucky! I am like Jeremy when it comes to rides. I love the adrenaline rush!
The western town rocked. I went to one very similar to that one. It was in South Dakota. I dressed up in an old fashion dress. If I can find that pic, I will post it here for you all to see :D I think I was like 14 when we went to SD.
What a coincidence that the Roloff's went to an amusement park in this episode because I too will be going to an amusement park tomorrow..Indiana Beach! I can't wait to ride them roller coasters. I am going to force my mom to ride at least one with me.I will post pics when I get them. Can't wait til tomorrow! :D :D

It was darling to see Jer and Jake hanging out together...awww! :D

I loved it when Matt was laughing up a storm about Jake on the rollercoaster.
It is like teens to brake something when they get togehter. I like to have a good water fit, so I didn't see why Zach would walk away. Other then the fact that he know something bad was going to happen. They can have fun and not have something happen.
I couldn't believe Amy put that outfit on. The picture did turn out great though.
I AM NOT HAPPY THAT WAS THE LAST SHOW.

Okay, I dug around and found that photo I was talking about earlier of me in the western town in SD back in 2001. I am in the front and my sister is in the back.

Thanks DS.
:D
Gracie, I am soooo Nellie. I always liked her cause I could see a little bit of my rebel nature/bratiness in her
That western town was called 1880's town. It was really cool. I loved being in that dress but it was SO hot. Ahh, the memories.
We also went to see Mount Rushmore and the Badlands while in SD and ND. I have a picture of me actually petting a prairie dog while in the Badlands. :D
Well I am getting off to go to bed cause I am going to Indiana Beach in the morning. I will tell you all about it tomorrow. :D

I was so excited for Jacob being able to go on the coasters, We love coasters here ( unforunatley my coaster day are over :( ). Iam surprised that the kids havn't had more expsoure to the big rides, didn;t seem like Molly even went on them! When they pushed Zach into the pool it looked like he hit his legs on the edge, I though oh no his leg he had surgery on, but seems to be pretty well healed from all the wrestling he was doing! Is it me or does it seem LP seem to have more agility then I ever did! LOL That little Zach, man the energy he has! Was glad to hear his dad was back from Iraq safe and sound! I sat there laughing at Matt with that hugh RV, Jeremy telling him to slow down and Matt saying he was just getting going! I can't beleive he was able to manuver that big thing, I never would have been able to......... Just like Matt always say you can do anything you put your mind to no matter how big or small! Happy vacation Roloff family....... we will miss you , already feel the with drawls setting in!

ML-pick a favorite, you can like them all but doesn't favorite mean pick one.?

About 35 minutes to go! I HATE that tonight is the finale!
Hey, on the many previews they've been showing for tonights shows and the previews for the upcoming new season, did anyone notice Matt laughing really hard? I just love that!!!!!! I can't wait to see what cracked him up so hard. Either way it was really nice to see him REALLY laughing! LOL
I think, after seeing the show...it was a laugh about Jacob on one of the rides...

I have a new favorite quote..." Sorry Mom, but that will hike up my crotch til I get a rash." that was sooooooo like what one of my sons would say...
(and did anyone notice when Zach tossed that bathing suit of Jacob's off to the side, Amy grabbed it?,,,LOL)
Ya could have heard a pin drop in my house when the LP's smashed that table...HOW MATURE of Zach to have walked away from the craziness...I felt sad when they threw water in his ear,,,no regard for the tubes in his ears...MONSTERS! Lol
That Hour last night was jam packed...great show..left me so wanting MORE!

Pretty funny, I caught this.
That was so CUTE when Jake wanted to bring his stuffed animals. I kept saying AWWWWWW!
Reminded me of my daughter. She has a few she likes to take too. One year she had a lot more, had to leave some home.
Did Zach get to ride the rollercoasters?no poor guy. He and Matt were too short. Actually, there was one he could have ridden but he told Jer and Jake no..He doesnt like coasters too much.
It was darling to see Jer and Jake hanging out together...awww! :D
Hey Gracie, remember how I told you I could send you the episodes? I dont have them all, but most and I will try and get my dad to burn them on a DVD for you :D
Saw some of this, when Amy was trying to get Zach to get on one that he was able to ride. Zach said no. They were there to have fun, he didn't want to risk having a headache.
Sawyer I saw that shirt, but what does it mean? http://warekclothing.com/About.htm
Nice story. Don't recall seeing the shirt, missed the 8 pm showing again. I'm so behind. I did see some of it from 11:10 to 11:45 but was 1/2 asleep.

I wondered about Molly too, but noticed when they showed Matt, Amy & Zach watching, Molly wasn't with them, so she was probably on the ride, just another time she chose not to be on camera.

Nice shots! Like the western one, always wanted to do that. Where's Molly?
Did anyone notice the new BR doors? Very custom looking!
Not sure I care for them. While the house itself (being on a "farm) supports doors like these, the decorating doesn't.

My favorite had to do with the bathing suit.
"These are unsoothing for Dwarf butt." I just died laughing. Amy got a kick out of that one too. Zach is too funny sometimes.
Matt cracking up at Jacob on the roller coaster was priceless!
Molly looked so cute in what she was wearing.
Amy in the western wear was a hoot!! I think there is a wild child in that lady. lol
I was wondering why they didn't show the state of the house when they returned home from the LPA convention. I wonder how Jeremy. I personally would have made him stay with Ron and Peggy.

<big sigh>
I can't believe another season has come to an end. Mondays nights are sure gonna be boring for the next few months.
Looks like the family had a blast at Knottsberry. Don't they look like they all truly enjoy spending time together as a family? Not an easy thing when you have twin 17 year olds, who probably would rather be hanging out with their friends or gf, rather than mom and dad.
Got a kick out of seeing Jacob tackle the grown up rides for the first time. Nice to see Jeremy giving the little guy some attention. It looks like it means a lot to Jake when Jer praises him.
The interaction at the house before leaving for the trip with Molly and Jacob was amusing. Reminiscent of my sister and I at that age.
Gonna miss the new episodes.....although i do have a few reruns to catch up with that i didn't see all of this year.
Cheers to the Roloffs.

You used to always see Jacob and Zach play around like before Zach's surgery. I guess Molly has taken on that role now.
I loved it when Molly was making Jacob promise he wouldn't kill her before she would open the door. Then she tells him to BACK AWAY FROM THE DOOR. hehehe

It was funny when Molly went out to the storage container with Jacob and then sneaked off. She is soooooo long legged like Jeremy

I loved these episodes! I personally don't like roller coasters, but it was so cute to see Jacob go on them. I was about his age when I want on my first with my cousin and our seatbelt was twistedand wouldn't tighten up enough.
All we could do was hold on to the back of the seat in front of us. SCARY! It was nice to see him hanging out a little with Jeremy too.
I liked the part where Amy said all MAtt was going to do was stop and look at everything and how it was built. LOL
And the convention in Phoenix, i totally would've walked away from that water balloon fight too. Except, I wouldn't have done in it a cool way like Zach, Iwould've just looked like the boring one. Glad Little Zach's dad got back okay!

I am back from Indiana Beach guys! I had a blast! I rode all of the roller coasters of course and I rode the ride that shoots you straight up into the air and back down. My mom was too chicken to go on any of those rides  The only ones she went on were the swings(LOL!) and this cave ride thing(and she screamed like it was fast or something   ) I rode a few others too but they weren't as fun as the coasters.
My mom took pics of me on the rides.I will show the pics as soon as I get them back.
