Actually, I like Molly and I get a real kick out of Zack. Matt can be funny at times like when he is trying to make a point and he gets ganged up on and ends up alone saying something like, "I don't have any friends here.":mrgreen:

I agree she is cantankerous and loves to put Matt down . It seems to give her a feeling of being better yet Matt NOT Amy supports them.
I love the show but if its a mostly Amy show do something else while its on but do listen to it.
Matt is the brains behind it while Amy likes to give the perception that she is by perpetual complaining and constant berating .
I feel very sorry for Matt and Jeremy.

I enjoy the show too, but some things about it bug me.

-Matt sometimes does things completely against what his wife says
-Amy complains too much and is too overprotective about Jeremy
-Zach uses really poor grammar
-Jacob needs to grow up a but....he acts like he's 7 sometimes...needs to toughen up

Only if you have been married to someone like Matt can you truely understand Amy ( I speak from experience here!) Matt's mind goes a million miles an hour and even when in the midst of a huge project, he is thinking up the next two or three projects! Amy keeps him grounded and realistic.

Matt does a lot of the things he does with a good heart and the best of intentions but the reality is that his timing isn't always great from a wifes perspective...some examples...

1. Deciding to redo the entire flooring a few days before Amy's family were coming for Thanksgiving.

2. Buying the home organiser for Amy's mothers day present ( many wives would be insulted by this)...( this wife would have oved it but not for a present! :lol:

I think Matt and Amy are a perfect balance...he is always planning new projects ect...Amy keeps it real and keeps Matt focused on reality and the result is they do what they do without getting too overloaded both financially and physically.

You have made a very good point. How true that was about doing the floor the day before Thanksgiving but he finished it and it came out great but your right that was a silly thing and most annoying .

I wonder if you would change your mind if you were married to Matt.
We never get the total picture of their relationship in the little bit that we see on tv.
How do we know he doesnt constantly push her buttons?
