After about a year of not watching much TV at all, I come back to discover this show. I love it. A lot of the episodes are new to me, but I'm catching up fast. Nobody else I know watches this show, so this forum will allow me to fulfill my need to talk about it. Of course, since I won't have time to read all of the posts, I will most likely ask many questions that have already been asked. So please be kind.

As an aside. I still don't watch much TV. Mostly reality shows like this(the nice ones anyway). I got tired of the shows I used to watch, mostly on basic cable. Too much carnality in everything. Some of the shows that I started watching were really good then they started getting more into sex and, well, more stupidity like that. The reality shows I don't like are the ones that seem to just put people together to see what kind of trouble they can get into. Survivor, any of the 'Idols'. I watch TV to be entertained, not to see how nasty one person can be to another.

I Love BWLP...I watch it every Monday Night..plus, I catch the re-runs when I can... This is such a cool family...I love the thought of the of Matt and Amy being so involved in their kids lives...I also notice that, they are aways giving thanks to God !! A Family that plays together, prays together..stays together.....I don't watch alot of T.V. now days..to much crap on there..but, you have a great clean show...!! keep up the work...Maybe one day if you are in Southern Mississippi I would be able to meet you all....it would be a pleasure....

Hi guys,
I've been reading this forum since last fall and finally decided to join in.
I'm from Vancouver, Washington (the other Vancouver, the otherWashington :)). I had seen glimpses of the show last year and while watching some episodes, realized that I live about 35 minutes from Roloff farm. Lucky me! So I certainly had to go check out the farm during pumpkin season last October. I took my 2 kids and a friend on October 14th, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Since then, I've become a big fan. With my DVR, I've been able to get up to speed on the old episodes as well as never miss any of the new ones.
It is amazing how the Roloff family has endeared themselves to so many viewers. They really are inspirational.
I grew up in the Portland/Vancouver area. I'm married with 2 kids (ages 7 & 11), and run a small landscape maintenance company. I enjoy recognizing all the local landmarks during the episodes. If the rest of you have questions about the area, or are needing help planning your trip to Oregon, maybe I can help.
Looking forward to chatting with everyone.

When I started doing landscaping, the guys(gals?) who mowed lawns were referred to as "mow jockeys". I own 3 commercial mowers, brand name "SCAG", hence "scagjockey". I'm probably infringing on their trademark, hope I don't get sued......

Hi everyone, just thought I would say a quick hi... im so excited that there is a forum about my new friends the Roloff's :teehee:

I live in Australia and have just started watching their show, over the weekend we had 2 full days of their show running, I was very excited, i caught up on things I have missed.... They are a very loving family and I can't wait to watch another eposide tonite :)

Thank you for the welcome. I am new and am still trying to navigate my way around here. I have some questions and have been searching the forums to see if I could find answers. I would like to get caught up on what has been happening w/the show. The last show I saw the Roloffs were in the middle of the remodle and money was a big issue. Was the remodle competed. When are the new shows going to begin? Why haver there not been the usual repeats? To me it was like they fell off the face of the earth. I love the show and missed it very much. :-)

Yesnomaybe, the last episode you saw was one of the last ones for the last season. There were a couple of lost episodes after that. The new episodes will start again this fall. We have been told that the remodel was completed.

Gosh I'm not sure if I ever posted here to say I am new to this board. I haven't been here but my very first time which was when I learned of Mike's untimely death and was so upset when I heard that news.

I really miss the show, we watched it every single week and would DVR it incase we were busy and wasn't home to catch it while it aired on TV. I can't wait for the next season to begin but I read that maybe there won't be another season? Oh I hope that is not the case. I love that show so much and have grown to love the Roloff's and look forward to seeing them weekly.

This Is a great Forum Glad i Stumbled across it and watched my first show the other week got hooked on to it . I have to admire Matt liked when he drives that big bus no way i'd drive one of those ;) I never been to the usa my brother has lucky him ;) if it wasn't so expensive .

looking forwad to getting season one on dvd, here on tv were got either season 3 or 4 same episode 3 times a day on the thursday so 3 chances to see it usally have to tape it though not home til late with work umpire training commitments .

a small town in victoria, Australia <- when i visit Melbourne its amazing how many people there either know someome their or they lived their
originally came from Melbourne but when mum and dad retired we decided to get out of Melbourne as My sister was Teaching up here at the time
been here 29 years ;) moved here when i was 7 ;) in 79 loved it
we lost our school a few years ago lack of numbers and lost our milk bar due to GST our postoffice moved to our general Store when the original owners retired
Our petrol is getting beyond a joke :( 170.9 when ya live in the country makes it a lot harder unlike when you live in the city where you can walk or go by bus alot more. we're hoping to move closer to Melbourne eventually being so far away from the family its hard our neighbours live in town but they own a farm we' got a lot of Freeways & tollroads use of e-tags
one that just not long opened already had a Accident i thougth what a Joke of a Freeway and a car did a illegal uturn in the tunnel and drove up the Wrong way a accident waiting to Happen with cameras in the tunnel they will get caught.

I've never Been to America before but i have heard alot about it though ;)
I got a few friends their especally around hillside NJ. and New York :)
i use to ring my friend like once a month didn't cost alot to my surprise i did it once to see what it came upto cheaper then STD calls out side the local area .

Im a 36 year old married mum of 2, nathan 10 and aimee 6, i have only had sky tv for few months but since then ive watched LPBW religiously it really cheers me up on a bad day would love to hear from people.
