Thanks, that was a rare thunder storm that passed by our area here in Oregon. From my limited experience with it I can say it's mostly luck though lol. I had never done it before but read up on it before going out, the wetland is about a block from my house. I remember wasting an entire role of film back in the day when we went to Cancun. There was this awesome lightning storm over the water and I wanted a pic of it soooo bad. Well, I got 1 shot out of like 24 shots where you could actually see the lightning but it was crap! LOL

I was lucky, it was dry where I was for a while. It also helps to have a really wide lense too, you will notice that shot isn't targetted, it's just capturing a large portion of the sky in hopes of catching a strike. However, I really wanted to catch it over the water which was my hope.

Sorry things don't get done as quickly as you'd like them to. But, people have lives outside of the forum. The questions get answered when we both have time to sit down and do them. And, it's not always easy making this happen. Doing the Q&A was never a promise anyway. This was just a courtesy to the fans that we agreed we would try and do when time allowed.

As for you wanting to correspond with them, wouldn't everyone? It's just not possible for them to answer everyone personally all the time. But that doesn't mean they don't care about their fans.

First of all, this forum was set up for the sole purpose of giving the fans a place to discuss the show. It was NOT set up as a place to get your individual questions answered.

We just decided to give that a try one day on a whim and agreed we would TRY and do more of it in the future IF time allowed. There was never a guarantee, however, that this would happen.

Second, if you stuck around enough and didn't just perform drive-by post and runs, you would know that the questions get answered in the order they are received. IF we even do them at all. Just because you asked a month, or even two months ago does not mean that your question will even get answered in the next round. Many people have left questions and we get to them in the order they were received. So, you may be waiting another month or two. I don't know.

And no, I will not be attending the LPA Conference just to meet the Roloffs. I was trying to get this question answered for my 4 year old son who is a big fan of the show. More importantly, my wife and I were considering adopting another little person which I know Matt is a big advocate of the adoption process.
