1. Zach, do you still talk to Casey? Have you guys ever dated since that dance?

Zach's Response:

No. We still see each other at the conference but we don't talk regularly. We never dated. She was always just a friend

Zach

2. What are your plans after you graduate HS? Do you think you will go right into college or wait? If so, which college?

Zach's Response:

I'll go right into college. I don't know which college yet, but I want to be a soccer coach though so I'm gearing towards that. Or maybe a sports announcer for Soccer.

Zach

3. What are some of your favorite music groups?

Zach's Response:

Alabama, Nickelback, Third Day, Bon Jovi

Zach

4. Are you and Dani still together?

Zach's Response:

No. Her and I are still friends but we never really dated seriously.

Zach

5. Is there anything that has been shown on the show that you regret doing/saying?

Zach's Response:

There's always stuff that people regret. Ya I regret stuff but nothing that I lose sleep over. I just tell myself that that's something I need to work on for next time.

Zach

6. Do you have any plans on buying a new car like Jeremy did? And if so, will you keep the new car clean?

Zach's Response:

I love my Previa van and so does all my friends. Jer and I clean it every week. I hate it when the producers shove all there junk in my van to make it look bad. Haha :)

Zach

7. Why are you so rough with Jacob? I know he likes to play with you and sometimes doesn't know when to stop but it looks like you really hurt him at times.

Zach's Response:

What would you do if you had a brother that was younger but he thought he was tougher because he was taller? Jacob needs to be reminded that just because I'm smaller doesn't give him the right to rough house me and to push his limits with me. He uses me to find physical limits and I use my brotherly instincts to educate him. I wouldn't be doing my job as a brother (who loves him) if I let him beat me up. He would get too cocky.

Zach

8. Do you and Jeremy have plans for senior week?

Zach's Response:

What is senior week?

Zach

9. Are you involved in any extra curricular activities at school besides soccer?

Zach's Response:

I do the random community service projects that our schools hosts. Helping out in Veronia was just one example.

Zach

10. Do you think you are too disrespectful at times towards your parents? Especially your father?

Zach's Response:

No, I'd rather be up front with him about how I feel. Jer argues with my mom and I argue with my dad. Cameras wont stop me because I'm not going to act differently when they're around. I'm me and this is a reality TV show. If the critics can only find my bad side and blow it up, then so be it.

Zach

11. What's your favorite game system? And what is your favorite game for that system?

Zach's Response:

Xbox 360, any of the FiFi games. For example, FiFi 08.

Zach

12. What's been the most difficult obstacle for you to overcome to date as a little person?

Zach's Response:

Finding a stool. LOL

Having confidence. Like I don't think I'm ready to date. I think too many friendships are ruined in high school when people date.

Zach

13. Do you buy clothes from the young boys section? You do you buy stuff in the men's section and just have them altered?

Zach's Response:

I don't like shopping. I wear what ever is given to me or what I can find that fits. My mom will occasionally get some pants altered though. I tell her what I need and she gets it.

Zach

14. What's the number one thing that you think you need to work on as a person? Like do you think you need to work on your manners, attitude, work ethic, etc.

Zach's Response:

I have a lot of things I think I need to work on. If I named them though, and then you saw them on the show, then some people would suddenly be blogging that I'm a hypocrite. So I prefer just to keep those personal goals to myself.

That's very nice that he answered all those question :thumb:

Zach is a good guy, and we all love him!

DS you're right, #6 is is pretty funny :teehee:

I was hoping his relationship with Dani was more serious. They seemed like the perfect couple.

Zach, if you want to win over women, do it with romance. Like if you wanted to win over Dani, start by sending her a dozen roses :thumb:

I think Zach would make a great soccer coach at any level from youth to college level. He is very passionate about the game. I hope he tries to get a job or internship with the college soccer team at his college. That would be the first step. He will do fine.

The twins seem to be ready for the next stage and college.

Great interview DS. He's a pretty down to earth person, you can also see it when they interview him on the show (when I get a chance to watch) he isn't sugar coating anything and comes across pretty genuine. Good for him for living his life the way he wants, regardless of the cameras.

DS is the 'super moderator' of this site. that means she supervises the posting and such, and in turn i'm pretty sure has access to the roloff's. so of course she is allowed to post these answers. but who knows... like she said, she could just be making this stuff up.

LOL it's ok. I just thought it was funny.

Anyway, when this forum was created I was recommended to Matt to be a MOD. And so, he emailed me and asked that I contact him by phone in order for us to get to know each other a little more before he agreed. The rest is history I guess. :teehee:

However, we have never met face to face yet. But we do speak regularly over the phone (sometimes several times a week, a day). I think I help him stay in touch with what's going on here and what people have to say about the show. Especially since his schedule often makes it impossible for him to do so himself. And, before it's asked (because it's usually the next thing people want to know), I volunteer to do all of this.

Sorry I came off like that. I just wanted to know how you got to do this for the family. I will always be thankful that they are able to answer the questions so thjat we can have the info on the fam.

DisruptiveSpirit

As you were posting this I was on the phone with Matt and he said that that sounds like a great idea. That we should.

He also said that he remembers the time when some of the boardies came to the farm and presented them with the scrapbook. He said he felt bad because he didn't have enough time to spend with them. He also said if you ever see the cameras filming in his office and if they pan up at his bookcase you can see the scrapbook on it. I thought that was cool.

Hey that was a great Q and A. Zach is very for real. Good for him. Would be sad if he was different for the wrong reasons. I like Zach. Reminds me how I was in my mind toward my dad. My dad would have spanked me to the moon if I told him what I thought. I do it now since I am grown up. :D. Of course I love my dad very much, but I see how Zach would be annoyed by his dad from time to time. As long as you still love your dad and your family that is all that counts. Thanks for posting Zachs replys to the questions. It was very interesting.

Here's a "Heads-Up" for anyone who may be a regular Home Depot customer.

Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out
shopping.
Simply going out to get supplies for home fix-up projects can turn out
to be quite traumatic.

*Don't be naive and think it can't happen to you*.

Here's how the scam works:

Two seriously good-looking 18-year-old girls come over to your car while
you are packing your shopping in the trunk. They both start wiping your
windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out
of their skimpy t-shirts. It is impossible not to look.
When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask
you for a ride to another Home Depot. You agree and they get in the back
seat. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of
them climbs over into the front seat and (well you probably know the
rest), while the other one steals your wallet.
I had my wallet stolen April 24th, 27th, 28th and 30th, May 1st and
twice on the 3rd, three times just yesterday, and very likely again this
upcoming weekend.
:mrgreen::mrgreen: (Jeanne sent me this! No really!!)

A boardie meet up sounds like a WONDERFUL idea! Just let me know about 1 or 2 years in advance so that I can save up money for the plane ride :P Cause heaven only knows that my parents won't drive me there or pay for me!

Great joke AOK :-P And I also love how much Zach's personality shows through in this interview!

Thank you Zach and DS for taking the time for the Q&A.

I was wondering, was Zach supplied with the list of questions beforehand, or was he answering them on the fly?

Either way, he has some clever answers. I especially liked his explanation regarding some people's criticism over how he interacts with Jake... It was all for educational purposes! LOL classic.

Personally, I think viewers and critics need to learn the difference between fighting and rough housing. Rough housing is normal for boys, be it wrestling, punching each other in the arm, whatever. It's the same as two big horn sheep ramming their horns into each other. It's just a guy thing and is nothing that deserves so much drama and criticism from some viewers. Besides, as Zach has stated, it's for really Jake's benefit and education...;-)

Fighting, on the other hand, is done out of malice or hatred and with the intent to injure someone. I have NEVER seen Zach do that.
