If you are waiting for Jacob to answer, I doubt he will. No one from the family, but for Matt (and his parents way back), has ever posted on here before.

But my guess is, Jacob is still young. So of course he will act immature at times. That's what being a kid is all about. He will learn, change and mature as he grows.

I don't understand why people seem to think Jacob is anything other than what he is, a normal kid! Why do so many people come down so hard on him or have such high expectations of him, he is a kid and a kid whos life is being shown on reality tv, a hard thing for anyone but really hard on kids and teens and I think this whole family has shown an amazing tolerance for the cameras and their fans and have done an exceptional job of showing "real" family life warts and all, there is no such family like the Cleavers!

Sorry but regarless of the fact they are on tv, in my opinion, the only people who should be asking questions about Jacob's grades are his parents, give the kid some privacy! Seriously, there are just some questions that shouldn't be asked.

Is Jacob becoming more mature? Well, in the Bahamas episode there was one segment on the Kayaks where Jacob addressed the cameras directly and spoke to the audience. He was well spoken then. Maybe he is learning how to handle the cameras.
I would say Jacob is becoming more mature the same way my boys are maturing as they move from age 9 to 10 towards 11.

I like what I see of Jacob on LPBW (not the meltdowns and tantrums but I don't like when I see MY kids doing that either!) I think he is a good kid! I liked watching him work on getting his soccer kick up to 51 MPH! I really think he and my kids would get along well.
