one guy on the tlc site;

"Americans are going through tough times.
Some people can't afford to fill their gas tanks, many are unemployed, many are foreclosing,others can't buy food, no health insurance, no vacations, unable to afford college tuition. When viewers who are going through tough times watch the Roloffs go on extravagant vacations, make their already large home unnecessarily larger,add a pool, buy expensive jewelry, send ungrateful boys to private school, own several vehicles and buying more- it makes them feel sick. Understandably so.This show shows a lack of sensitivity to our current economic climate."

are they going to get replaced by the foose family?

"After watching the show "Dwarf Family", I can't help but to compare the Foose family to the Roloff's. Here's a family that treat's each other with respect, no back-talking, spoiled kids mocking their parents, etc. I found it to be a breath of fresh air to hear Mrs. Foose speak (vs. Amy's complaining and sarcastic, smart-a** tone everytime she opens her mouth).
The children are well-mannered and Mr. Foose seems to be a down-to-earth, loving husband and father. Now this is the type of Dwarf Family that I would like to tune into and watch every week. Just my opinion."

SO, you are saying that people that dont have enough money because of the economy have enough money for cable TV? cut unnecessary expenses and live a standard of life fit for your occupation. This post just made me very upset at the competence of humans.

The Roloffs big home expansion and swimming pool was done before the economy hit the fan.

I enjoyed the Foos family but did not find them as entertaining as the Roloffs. I would love to see another special on the Fooses.

Wink

Considering what is happening with Jon and Kate and the other huge TLC family, the Roloffs have not changed, Thank goodness!

Yeah and it's funny seeing all the drive-by posters that we forgot about.
