they are NOT an average american family any more in the least bit........... the average american family doesn't have life style of the roloffs......... with all the struggles of today ,economy etc, life is not what the roloffs show for the average middle class person..... the wealthy maybe.......

i found that when the show began, it was a betryal that even though the parents were "of small stature" they were able to maintain and have a normal family lifestyle. it was great........ i admired amy so much in what a wonderful mother she was and of course matt a great dad.....

but recently the show is boring and "lets watch what vacation they can take, what can they buy or etc.......

i guess televsion has turned the roloff into "the lives of the rich and famous."

i miss the old ones..................................
I agree with you very much juicee. i love the show, i really do, but it had become kinda ridiculous with the lifestyle, one episode jeremy gets his own car, they get their beetle redone, they get a new gator, and so forth.

If you guys took the time to read the FAQ you would know that Jeremy worked and saved his money for like 4 years in order to be able to buy his car.

Sorry. Didn't mean to come off wrong. But, you'd think that people who want to know so much about the family and show would check the FAQ section first.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I was just trying to help you guys out.

I don't want to watch an average American family, how incredibly boring.

FYI a 'gator' is another type of ATV made by John Deere, similar to the Mule, which are made by Kawasaki. Someone just got their brands mixed up.
