Default Huge Pumpkins

I just saw a show on PBS about how people grew giant pumpkins. It was really cool. One guy made a pumpkin hammock to hold his pumpkin off the ground to keep it round.

I saw that too! Funny show! I think the Roloff's (Camerino?)
should try for a giant pumpkin or 2, what another great attraction
that would be! Have your photo taken with a little person in
front of a giant pumpkin, $5!

They did have a huge pumpkin set up in the sales pavilion for people to take pictures with. I don't know if they grew it themselves or not.

That's big but the ones on the PBS show were 500-1000 pounds

That pumpkin is WOW!

off topic but important question...
Hey fizzy, are you doing okay? I know that there is a tornado near Elkart, Illinois off of Interstate 55 and I know you are from the western side so I was wondering if you were affected at all by the tornado? I hope it doesn't head our way! Hopefully it breaks up by then!

hi ML...ty for careing, your so sweet.Im ok.. llinois has had a lot of funnels and tornados this year.Take cover if it comes your way!!!! God I hate those things! A few weeks back I was taking pics of a rainbow while i was out shopping. When i got home i found out the whistles were blowing and that was a tornado behind the rainbow. My poor kitties were home alone. Then the last warning it took me 1/2 an hour to get the cats in the bathroom and by then the whistle stopped. I had to chase them all over. What do you do with your cats during a tornado ML ?
