Who is Sam Roloff? I thought it was Matt's father but his name is Ron??????? So I guess I am confused......I was mailing him cute emails trying to be a friend and he asked me to take him off the mailing list......I was kind of shocked as I was trying to be a friend......I feel bad that I bothered him.... who ever he is?????

well I think he is not like Matt at all......he just may be stuck on himself or something.......a goody goody......oh well now I know who he is and I am not impressed.....sorry for the bad attitude

Just different- from what little I've heard, Matt is almost a stereotypical salesman in personality, and Sam a stereotypical engineer. Likely he didn't mean to offend, but just doesn't have time/energy for new online friends right now. Note that so far, his family has also stayed away from the show to a large extent (as has Matt's sister's family).

The emails probably were annoying....I mean, he doesn't know you and you are sending him several random emails. I'd request my name to be removed from the mailing list, too. Who wants to have to sort through a large amount of emails from someone they don't know? It's almost like spam.

Well said! That was exactly my thoughts when I read this..No offense Diane, but Quad is right. I wouldnt like it if a stranger sent me things..I only allow my family and close friends to send me "cute" things via email..thats it.
