Hello all,

I am new to the forum as of today! I have however been reading for a long time!

I just wanted to express that I ADORE this family. They are "real" IMHO. I don't always agree with them, I don't always agree with their parenting, I think the kids are sometimes brats, I think Matt is often in the wrong, I think Amy is often in the wrong, I think their house is a mess at times, etc...HOWEVER, all the above applies to me, my kids, my husband, my house, etc too! Which of course is part of the reason I love this family!

After all is said and done, they are just that, a real family with it's problems, situations and joys.

If we all lived our lives under the eye of the camera not a single one of us would come off smelling like a rose! While they invited this into their lives and in a way, have asked for scrutiny, at the same time, they are just being who they are.

I am sure as I post here I will be expressing my opinion on situations, but at the same time my adoration for this family will remain!

Glad to see a forum that is more positive. People on the TLC boards which I too have read are ruthless, cruel and seem to take pleasure in flogging this family for the most part. Forgetting that they are people too and not just characters.

Ah well...rant over....gonna go respond to some threads!

Hey Mommato4 you stated it well! I don't see many here who think the Roloffs are gods that can do no wrong. We can talk about the good and the bad without it getting too crude! Hope you have fun!
